Intention

"Simply Cecilia" describes me well...a mother of adult children,  mother-in-law,  grandmother, teacher,  author, artist, somatic mover, explorer, sister,  daughter, aunt, partner to Dan, and  "simply human." I am always amazed how many creative opportunities open up each day. Whether it is simply to observe and interact with the daily minutia of cooking or encountering exciting, new adventures,  I try to  approach life in a simple, human-scale way. A way that is human-sized and unique to my characteristics, capabilities, and interests. In a way that encounters the world from my experiences...a world view that is influenced by my physical body, my history, my  relationships, and my environment. This simple sensibility about life is what I am interested in sharing with others, while benefiting from other peoples' unique, creative life. Sharing ideas and creative experiences enriches each person who dares to explore the world of The Arts with me.   

Please share your creative hobby, craft, innovation, or passion? Once a month, as part of the BLOG section, I will feature a creative venture on the HOME page. I am looking for people interested in sharing their experience in the arts field...which includes visual, written, textile, maker, dance, audio, video, sculpture, clay, metal...any art. If selected as the featured blog  contributer, you can attach a publishable photo, along with a first-person description of your experience with your art.
